If Necromancer badly wants a PC Engine forum that fit his special needs, nobody is stopping him to create one by himself. This is pretty much what duophile is for. Oh the irony. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some streams to cross with the Haze.

I was in PCEFX discord chat today, and Necro was flipping shit shit talking about with some else about making a new PCEFX forum just like the old one. Why? Once I chatted with Necro a bit more, I learned why. He wants a forum to post in where he can be a dick freely. This isn't the place for that, and I am glad. Come to think of it, that's part of the reason I didn't go around PCEFX forums so much... I didn't enjoy him being a mod. Ok, this is just childish. Necro certainly wasn't "flipping shit", he just said he wasn't likely to come here because he knows how he acts doesn't jive with how Paul likes to run a forum. The day that becomes flipping shit or shit talking is the day we've gone about 1000% too far.

"NightWolve during the last days of PCEngineFX" I think I missed the earlier frames where he poured the petrol and lit the match himself before sitting in the chair.

Come to think of it, that's part of the reason I didn't go around PCEFX forums so much... I didn't enjoy him being a mod. So you didn't like going to the old pcefx because Necro was a mod, but then got upset with him recently when he didn't take your advice and sign up on these forums where you're active? Dude! Ugh, the two of you just need to hug it out, and unfortunately Hazey is the only one that will bend the knee and say "let's move on". Necro can't because he's not here to, lol (also Necro is far too stubborn to admit anything) Long story short- Haze came back to the forums after a long ass time away from the obey scene, said he knew Aaron from back in the day, Necro said pound salt- I don't give a shit who you are, and Haze was insulted. The two of you muggles can exist in the same world (like it or not, you do already!) you just need to chill!

I was fine with Necro as part of a larger mod team. The PCEFX mod team was never particularly active, and I thought that caused some issues, but it was mostly OK. As the rest of the mod team largely left or tuned out, leaving Necro as the only one remaining active, I did become more frustrated with the tone and conditions on the forum. It was a big place for one person to mod, and there weren't other mods active to moderate individual tendencies. I know modding here and over at RB, one of the strengths is that I work with others who have different inclinations from me, and so we can balance each other out a bit. It keeps any one personality from becoming too dominant. You don't have modding from only one perspective.
And really, only Necro can decide if this is the kind of place he wants to spend time. We can't make him, and we wouldn't want to try to make him. I'd certainly like him to give this place a try, but if he feels that particular aspects of his personality are too important to compromise in order to avoid moderation mishap, that's something that's solely in his court.

The difference being here, you have Paul who is actually around and if one or more moderators were to leave/take time off/etc, they could be replaced and you could still have a group that works together. Aaron has admitted that he'd been pretty much inactive for a good while and we all see how that one worked out.

I learned from MMO Guilds that it's very important to have a group of people in charge that can balance each other and discuss things. Not one person is right all the time, you need others to point out if you're not being reasonable. We all know what happens otherwise, and that aint happening here.
