I backed the original campaign and the controller works even better than I'd hoped. Overall noticeably better than the Hori pad and after using it, you won't be able to touch a stock N64 controller again.

BT what's your experience with the dpad? I like to use it for Tony Hawk and Mortal Kombat 4 with my brother.

BT did you have an issue with the LEFT bumper interfering with the stick while in simultaneous use? I heard a few people griping about that. I have been in wait and see mode to try and get one until I heard what others' experiences were.

The d-pad I tested the least, because I couldn't find my memory cards and too many games had unskippable intros (which ate up my time comparing those three pads). But it seemed accurate and comfortable compared to the other two pads. It does smooth 360 movements, while the stock pad kinda just flips side to side in each direction. The Hori pad has the same blocky feel as the stock pad, but does smooth circles, only it kinda wiggles overall.
I wish there was a game like SFII to test it with. I really don't like Killer Instinct/Mortal Kombat style games.
Not at all, and I purposely tested that combo in each game I tried. I opted in for the replacement part, but the colored pads will come with the updated design.
