Tacking my question on this thread since it seems like an appropriate place. I just picked up a SSD3 unit, and my goal is to rip my own games. I don't want to use publically available system card roms. I think an Arcade card pro should play everything if I buy one (I'm aware of the expense, so I know) but if I get one and rip it, should that cover my cd and supercd library?
Thanks guys.

The rom on the PRO is identical to the Super CD/System 3 card. If you have a System 3 card just rip that and you're good to go for 99% of the library. The ram an Arcade Card provides is built-in to the SSS3.

Thanks BT. I've only ever owned a TG-16, Turboduo and more recently a Coregrafx, so never had anything but the built in system 3.0 card in the duo. I went ahead and ordered one off of ebay. So if I'm understanding this right, if I use this card rom and check a box somewhere on the SSD3 for arcade cards, I can run arcade card games?

It only needs the copyrighted bios that TerraOnion can't legally provide. Arcade Card games are programmed to use the System 3 rom/bios.
